Glyph — Privacy Policy

Effective: July 19, 2026 · applies to the Glyph browser extension

The short version

Glyph collects nothing, stores nothing and transmits nothing. It has no server, no accounts, no ads. All font inspection happens locally on the page you activate it on, and everything is removed the moment you press Esc or toggle it off.

Data collection

The current version of Glyph does not collect, store or transmit any personal data, browsing data or usage data. It does not use cookies, local storage or any analytics inside the extension. If a future version adds optional anonymous usage statistics, this policy and the Chrome Web Store data disclosure will be updated first.

Permissions

Glyph requests no broad host access (<all_urls>), runs nothing in the background, and is inactive until you explicitly turn it on.

Website analytics

This website (glyph.getoverlab.dev) uses Google Analytics to count visits. This concerns the website only — the extension itself contains no analytics.
